Maggie Whitfields began the way the best things do. A husband and wife who wanted to build something meaningful together.
Edward and Maggie Whitfield opened their doors in Ludlow in 1998 with nothing but belief in each other and a dream. What started as a small shop on a quiet cobblestone street slowly grew into something the whole community came to love. Their goal was simple: offer beautiful clothing that helps women feel confident, comfortable, and truly themselves.
But life changed when Maggie became ill.
The shop they had built together suddenly carried even more meaning. Every piece, every customer, every morning they opened the doors became a way to honour everything she had given to it.
Their daughter Sophie made a life-changing decision. She paused her studies to come home and continue the journey her parents started. Not because it was easy, but because she believed their dream deserved to live on.
Today, Maggie Whitfields is more than fashion.
It stands for family, resilience, and the courage to never stop believing in something you love.
And we're grateful to have you as part of our story.
